Current Visitor Guidelines
With consideration for the emotional well-being of those in our care, patient visitation has been reopened at Western Arizona Regional Medical Center with the following limitations:
- One (1) visitor per patient.
- All visitors must wear a facemask or cloth face covering at all times, perform frequent hand hygiene, and restrict their visit to the patient’s room or other designated area.
- Visitors must pass a health screening to enter the hospital.
- No children under 18 years of age.
Inpatients: Visitation hours are 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. in the non-COVID units.
Obstetrics: Labor and delivery and postpartum patients continue to be allowed one adult companion throughout their stay.
Outpatients (lab, X-ray, and surgery): Patients may be accompanied by one person, who may wait in the appropriate waiting area.
Emergency department patients: Emergency room patients may be accompanied by one visitor, with no restriction of visiting hours.
COVID-19 Patients: For questions regarding requests to see inpatients in the COVID unit please connect with the chief nursing officer. After hours, contact the administrator on call.
Hours
WARMC Main Entrance: Monday - Friday: 5 a.m. - 8 p.m.
Emergency Entrance is open 24-hours
Imaging Center: Monday - Friday: 7 a.m. – 4 p.m.
Medical professionals are posted at both entrances to screen all individuals for symptoms of fever, cough, or respiratory illness.
