The Case Management Department assists patients and their families with the arrangements and plans for discharge. This includes gathering information regarding the patient's needs such as home health services, durable medical equipment, physical therapy, etc. Case Management can also arrange for discharge to another facility for additional care or skilled nursing care. The Clinical Laboratory at Western Arizona Regional Medical Center is a state-of-the-art facility staffed by nationally-certified medical technologists and technicians and accredited by the College of American Pathologists. The Laboratory operates seven days a week, 24-hours-a-day and performs testing on both an inpatient and outpatient basis. For more information call (928) 763-0256.
The Rehabilitation Services Department offers care on an inpatient, outpatient, or home health basis. The staff is certified and experienced in all phases of rehabilitation including but not limited to: orthopedic injuries, joint replacements, stroke, chronic medical conditions, amputations, wound management, work related injuries, hand therapy and all phases of speech therapy including swallowing disorders and speech and language delay. A department dedicated to patients coping with asthma, emphysema, COPD, or other lung diseases. The Cardio-Pulmonary Department provides a program to lessen shortness of breath, improve endurance and encourage self-confidence. The program is a combination of supervised exercise and education done on an individual basis according to the patient's needs, age, physical limitations, and abilities.
